Started
In December 2011, the Chefs’ concept came to fruition. Hai Chix & Steaks’ first restaurant branch opened in the Ortigas business district with tremendous success. It has remained strong over the years, even moving to a new prime location inside the Ortigas Home Depot compound. Since then, Hai Chix & Steaks has also expanded by opening a branch in Estancia Mall in 2021 and soon after, in Bonifacio Global City in 2023. Plans to widen the restaurants’ reach are already in place, as Hai Chix & Steaks will be expanding to the South.
As the restaurant chain has grown, so has its menu offerings. Every dish of Hai Chix and Steaks that was brought about and innovated has been inspired by our Chef’s experiences and those of his customers’. Through a great deal of experimentation in the kitchen, he accomplished creating a diverse menu with dishes inspired by the best Asian and western cuisines. New Menu ideas area created by combining different elements of Hai Chix & Steaks’ classic dishes. Undoubtedly, Hai Chix & Steaks has proven that it has and will continue to elevate and revolutionize the dining experience.


Our
Steak
The search for the perfect steak in Manila is often an arduous one. Every year, a new establishment enters the list and takes in the place of another. In the case of Hai Chix & Steaks, Chef Ferdie has mastered and perfected the way he cooks the restaurant’s steaks. Through an elaborate temperature control process, Hai Chix & Steaks is able to exceed expectations in the consistency of its dishes. Every aspect, such as storage temperature, cooking time, and preparation, is meticulously measured to ensure that diners are delivered with a high-quality and perfectly well-seared steak.
On the outside, a golden brown crust sheaths the steak as a perfect textural contrast to what’s inside: a medium with a well seasoned gradient that leads to a soft, pink, and juicy center. On top of this are crunchy fat bit toppings that complements the tender meat. With the name that suggests their specialty dishes, Hai Chix & Steaks’ menu has continued to delight their diner’s palettes with a taste of Asian and Western flavors.

Hainanese
Chicken
While more popularly known as a Singaporean dish, Hai Chix & Steaks’ Hainanese chicken is more Malaysian-inspired. This comfort food excels because of its simplicity. Served in either a breast or thigh portion, the chicken is cooked perfectly tender yet still succulent. It’s served with the traditional triumvirate of sauces: ginger sauce, chili sauce, sweet soy sauce; and – of course –the required bowl of steaming chicken rice.
